The Thumb Draw Accuracy Workshop is a live online training event designed to help thumb draw archers develop a more systematic approach to improving their accuracy.
And this isn’t going to be two hours of me sitting in front of a computer talking.
I’ve recorded shooting demonstrations at the range specifically for this workshop.
We’ll watch those demonstrations together.
Then I’ll come back LIVE from the Odinson Archery shop to break down what you just saw.
Using a whiteboard, live discussion, and additional analysis, we’ll take a deeper look at what’s happening during the shot and how those actions can affect what happens downrange.
Then we’ll put those ideas to work.
WHAT WE’LL BE WORKING ON
During the workshop, we’ll explore:
- How to recognize common causes of inconsistent accuracy
- How to read your misses instead of simply reacting to them
- Separating aiming problems from execution problems
- Identifying common mechanical errors in the thumb draw shot
- How seemingly small changes can affect arrow impact
- How to troubleshoot your shooting systematically
- How to test a correction before changing something else
- Developing a repeatable process for diagnosing future problems
The goal is simple:
